Masjithul salam [Mosque] was started in 1987at Mawadi Junction to cater the prayer needs of Akkaraipattu-06(21) Sri Lanka people, Due to the terriesom in those days in a small cottage, on the name of “Masjithul salam”

This Masjith locatedin Mawadi Junction, Akkaraipattu-06, was temporarily started. During the period of terrorism in 1990.

Later in 1995,this masjid was established as a small building and at present it is functioning as a main [Mahalla] for 5 times prayers along with a   Al-Quran Matharasa functioning in it.Around 125 students living in the surrounding of this masjid are learning Quranat present, and the population o...
